Find a comfortable position; laying comfortably in one spot or sitting with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Close your eyes.

Place one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly.

Take three deep breaths.

Feel your breaths enter and exit your lungs.

Be present with how those breaths feel.

Acknowledge how your mind and body feel.

Give those feelings your attention, allow them the space to occupy your mind and body.

Take three more deep breaths.

Allow those feelings the space to move through your mind and body.

Take three more deep breaths.

Slowly open your eyes.

Take some time to write down the feelings that came over you to allow them to exit your mind and body.

Spend some time writing your thoughts surrounding those feelings.
